Since the 1980s ... (Other than the recommended upgrades to the 1980s Glock models done by Glock Armorers)

I've tried and/or used

"PT Night Sights" (Colored glowing night sights so I could tell caliber in the dark)
Other brands of night sights
"Haartz" Steel Recoil rods filled with mercury and ball bearings to reduce Recoil (
Guide Rod Laser
Grip Laser

NOW having tested all those ... I don't use them any more but
Every Glock I own (And Springer XD45 and some Taurus and others) have, and always will have on new ones I get:

Advantage Tactical Sights http://www.advantagetactical.com/home/
Pearce Grip mag extension which adds capacity http://www.pearcegrip.com/
and as applicable Xgrip Magazine spacers http://x-grips.com/product/

Truglo TFX sights, plus Talon +1 mag extensions on the 42 and 43.

IME Night Sights, Ammunition, and Training are the best "Mods" for a Glock. Most aftermarket items for the Glock are designed to do nothing but separate shooters from their money.

I have tried just about every spring and connector combination out there and I come back to the stock connector and spring every time. I think it is the best combination of reliability, crisp feel with out mushiness, and poundage.

Just my .02,

Not really a tune up, but I did add one of these to each of my G17 magazines: https://www.lonewolfdist.com/Detail.asp ... 5&CAT=4977
Lone Wolf Distributors +2 magazine extension will add 2 rounds to all the standard (hi-capacity) 9mm, 40 S&W, 357 Sig. magazines.
That gives me 38+1 rounds if I carry just one backup magazine, and 57+1 with two backup magazines.

Gee, I don't know why capacity has become so important lately.......

I have the Hogue grips on all of mine. (Sweaty hands). And I also like the extended slide release. (Saves wear and tear on the thumb)

XS Big Dot sights, and I undercut the trigger guard a little.

G43: Ameriglo CAP sights, Pierce grip plug, sanded down mag follower and added Pierce +1 ext for 7+1 capacity.

Started looking online into the Glock minus connector and finding no stock. Can I assume it's a Christmas thing or are they normally hard to find?

[quote="Abraham"]GlassG19,

I like them.

While I prefer the 3.5 connector, I sometimes shoot my wife's G19 with it's standard trigger and find it only slightly different.

By that I mean, I thought there would be a world of difference in trigger feel and find it not to be so much...and I have a good feel for triggers. If I had to do it all over again, I wouldn't bother.[/quote

Cool, thanks for responding. I'm thinking that too w/ the connector. How do you really like your Truglo Night Sights? How long you had them & how's the low light situations; (indoor ranges, home defense)? Those 2 are my primary uses for night sights.

This and the same sights TAM did.

Other than the .25 trigger job the only mod I've done on a Glock is a ghost ranger 3.5 connector on my 17. It takes out the bump feel on the trigger pull and makes it nice and crisp but I find it almost too short for anything but range use

Stock Glock for me. If I were to mod a glock it might be for XS Big Dot Sights because the self appointed internet tactical guru's said I need them but standard glock sights are fine for me. It's what go me from a 1911 to tactical Tupperware. I really don't care for 3-dot sights.
