Last Monday was a rare day I didn't carry, as I had to go to the USPO, but before returning home I stopped at a nearby convenience store I visit at least once a week to get dip, which I order a log at a time.
I noticed a newly affixed 30.06 sign.
I went in, asked for the usual, and because she's trying to figure out how much to order, she asked me when I'll come back.
"I can't come back."
"Why not?"
I rotate my right arm to the sign at 5 o'clock, "because of that sign."
You armed?
"Yes"
"It's O.K., I let you pass."

They do actually....the Bill of Rights applies to criminals until they've been convicted of something...but I know what you're getting at. In the context of this discussion what they do have are liberal enablers and supporters who apply the law in such at way as to give the appearance that criminals have "rights"...and superior rights to the rest of us.Lynyrd wrote:Criminals don't have "rights," as you put it.

I told him I wanted to make sure that I am legal. As soon as I said that he says its concealed just go past it. At first I thought about doing it, but it came to my head if I go past the sign I will be breaking the law. Luckily there was no sign and I was able to enter. This got me really thinking that with all these signs going up. The criminals are getting more and more rights than people who follow the laws.
Sad days if you ask me.
Why do you need to stop walking and announce to everyone you are walking with that you are carrying? You can't just glance around real quick as you walk in and keep your mouth shut? You are not going to get zapped by a bolt of lighting if you don't disarm and walk past a 30.06 sign.
I don't even tell family members I'm carrying. Co-workers would be the absolute last people on earth I would tell.
