They lost my business because, while the sign is not effective notice, I understand their intent. And a criminal understands by that sign that chances are good that those inside would be open season. You have to remember that non-compliant is your opinion. Today I read about a perfectly legal sign that the "poster" said couldn't be read because of sunlight. I CC past non-compliant signs. What they don't know won't hurt them or me.
