I'm just curious. With questions like this wouldn't it be easier to call DPS? I've never had to call them with questions so maybe it's difficult thing to do. Maybe it's scary. Look at all of the aggravation you could have saved yourself. Just my thoughts.

Whenever I've called, I've gotten a "call back" message. Not "please hold", a "hang up and try again later" message.

I tend to agree with this forum's stance that we should refrain from bothering them and let them process our applications if at all possible.

Evidence I've seen also suggests that they have two responses for us: "Oh, it'll take another two months" (even if plastic arrives the next day), or "Congrats! It's coming this week!" (even when it's not).
