I should address one potential problem for the Scorpion carbines, hammer wear.

Others have noted, as have I, that the hammer is showing wear patterns after 500 rds or so. Apparently this hasn't been an issue w/ the pistols. Some are speculating that the world trigger packs in the carbines have hammers that haven't properly been hardened...or it's just a bad batch in that group.

Thus far, CZ hasn't agreed that it's a problem.

I'm keeping an eye on mine. Gun still runs smooth, but I wouldn't be surprised at either an aftermarket replacement hammer or a CZ warranty replacement down the road.

Let's call it $150 in mods.

Time, if I'd purchased the carbide tipped drill bit, my total time spent would have been an hour? As it was, I spent way to much time and cheap bits drilling that darn weld out.

i just don't get the application of these. I'm not at all trying to be snarky, in fact I hope to get educated. But I just don't see the use of thes other than a pretty cool range gun. I can take my glock 19 with a 30 round magazine and be fine 30 yards and in, if I need something for longer range I'll use my ar15. Honestly have thought about the scorpion evo but hard to justify this based on what I mentioned above. Again if it's a range toy I get it, but I like to be able to at least convince myself there really is a need for it. I do like that fact that you have the compatibility with the 9mm which is good but then again there isn't really any comparison of a 9mm vs a rifle cartridge.

It does seem like a very cool gun (op's looks pretty awesome) and I would definetly like it in a Sbr set up. So help understand the use. Or maybe not, I could do without spending the cash...

This right here is why I ended up picking one up. In SBR'd format with a silencer (a real one) tucked up under the handguard I should have a pretty fun range gun and maybe something that could pull HD duty (that's secondary). The price of sub-sonic 9mm ammo vs. say 300 BLK is another draw. A lot of my shooting these days is geared towards suppressed use, and I saw this as an opportunity to get into the sub-gun game. To your point though, I really could have done without the $ outlay...

Well made the mistake of watching a lot of videos on this over the weekend and this does seem like a very cool gun to have. SBR definitely looks like the way to go. I new I should have just looked away.

Haha. We'll definitely don't go to HB Industries to look up all the cool aftermarket parts for this gun (some of which were highlighted in the OP). Cause then you'd just start getting ideas...

I got mine a few days ago and took it to the range ... Very nice shooter ... Accurate right out of the box .... I also have a Kel-Tec Sub 2000 Gen and the CMMG mk9 T 9mm and the Scorpion Carbine is by far the best one ... Love it ... Can't wait to make a few upgrades to it

Also how can attach pics ? Keeps telling file is too big
