Harry Turtledove is a well-known and prolific author of historical fiction. I heard him give a talk one time in which he commented on the quantity of detailed historical research you must do to write as he does. He allowed that you will always make mistakes, but if you're lucky, they'll be noticed by only a few readers. "On the other hand," he said, "God help you if you make a mistake about guns. You'll be inundated with responses."

Moon clips in a revolver are fine, but which Sig would that be and what about the safety?

Just joking about moon clip vs moon magazine. We all get so defensive about clips and magazines.

No, but the necessary adapter can be purchased at any neighborhood grocery store to convert it into a double-shot weapon that doesn't need to eject the brass. While you're at that Kroger's, you'll also probably want to pick up a scope so your Sig .45 ACP revolver with double-shot magazine clip adapter can become an assault weapon.
Neither TAM nor I have been able to find a shoulder thing that goes up at any Kroger we've been to, so you may have to check HEB for that.

We all know that the revolver was actually an assault rifle.
