I agree his story doesnt pass the smell test. Sumpin aint right. I just hope the cops dont stress out over it too much, they did what they had to do. That kind of incident can be long lasting for the good guys and some have a hard time getting past it. This knucklehead gave them no choice.

This is another case of poor reporting there is only this idiot's side of the story. I'm sure there is video from the patrol car if he walked up in front of it in a non threatening manner as he said, that probably disputes his version, but the "journalist" doesn't take the time to look into it. Also having 12 wounds could indicate that he was only shot 6 times. A lot of unanswered questions, not to mention, the whole story makes this guy look like a total nimrod. I don't put a lot of stock into any story coming out of Commifornia.

I agree. It sounds like a suicide mission on the surface. I see no other reasonable explanation as to why someone would get out of their vehicle, with a gun, a rifle at that, walk towards the officers and expect not to be fired upon. If it truly was a suicide mission, I feel sorry for the officers that are put in that position.
