I'm strictly an appendix carry OWB holster guy.
I couldn't bring myself to suffering the slings and arrows of an IWB holster.
Go OWB or go home...

What holster do you use? Not that I've done an exhaustive search, but I haven't found anything other than maybe the avenger style OWB that look like they'd work for appendix carry.

I only wear IWB maybe a half dozen times a year. When I do, it is a G43, appendix carry, with a home made Kydex holster that my son made for me:

I responded earlier with 4 - 4:30, but once in a while I conceal carry IWB my Beretta 92FS, Its a pretty big gun. I carry it in the SOB. A lot of people believe this is a terrible way to carry. But I carry it on my person under certain conditions, and I believe the concern about the safety is way over rated.
1: It is no problem drawing without covering myself. It may be a half second slower than a normal strong side draw. but I can draw, clear the safety, before I'm at the low ready position.
2: Lots has been said and about falling on it and getting more seriously hurt because of the big chunk of metal next to ones spine in the case of a fall.. My holster is a nylon Uncle Mikes and has some padding. I believe the holster might be actually some protection if I fell against something hard.
3: This isn't an everyday carry. It works well when I'm not in a car for much more than an hour or two at a time. and If I'm outside walking around.
4: there are some minor disadvantages to this type of carry. It's uncomfortable sitting or driving for long periods of time. I find I can flip up the back of my cover garment and not realize it. and it is not so easy to reholster safely. My draw is a slight bit slower. But has the advantage of being able to carry a larger gun without it moving around much if one is moving around a lot.

I carry 1 o'clock aiwb. I find that position to offer the best concealment since I don't have to worry about the grip poking out if i bend over or turn the wrong way. It is also an easily defensible position to keep it. Since I don't have to reach around my waist to draw, it also telegraphs less if I need to use it.

4:00 to 4:30, as it is the most comfortable for me.

3:30. There is a spot that's just right. Concealment is better at 4:30 or so, but it's hidden anywhere around there.
