I've tested sever braking and turns. I use a sticky type mat on the seat and the shape of my buckets keep it secure. Now in my old 70s bench seat, I would agree with you.

When driving long distance I wear a Galco Phoenix, dual position holster.

With the holster at 11 o'clock it provides an easy, unobstructed cross draw that eliminates most common sweep problems. Moving the holster to the right at 3 0'clock provides me a comfortable and easily concealed everyday carry.

I have also driven from El Paso to Dallas or San Antonio with a Crossbreed at 4 o'clock with no discomfort.

AIWB is a bit of a lifestyle choice. When I get in the car I put on my seatbelt, then pull my shirt out from under my posterior and out from under the front of the lap portion of the belt. The belt rides across the slide while I'm driving. Draw is almost the same as when I'm standing. Very comfortable.

since I carry a BUG, when in the car I have the holster at about 11:30 - 12:00 . It's a Ruger LCR in a Remora holster similar to their clip/no clip -- I have one of the ankle ones that has a velcro patch on one side for either attachment to the ankle/thigh/shoulder rig, or you put a no slip patch on. I sewed a tandy stainless line 24 snap inside the no-slip patch, then put the post on an Ulticlip 3. Take off the clip and put the holster in my left front pocket if I've reached my destination. If I didn't already have the holster, I would have just ordered the clip/no clip one

here is exactly how I mount mine! Works very well, 100% you can't see where my right hand is and what it is that I am grabbing. If anything looks weird, then my hand is on the grip.

Same here. I also am now in the habit of carrying back-ups on both ankles (Galco Ankle Glove). So I pull my trowser legs up to the top of my boots for very easy access, with either hand.

^^ That's what I do as well. Shoulder holster really comes into its own in the car and is a great way to have a lot of ammo on hand.

In a iwb that I remove and clip under my steering wheel.
The wheel is big enough to reach threw and my truck is tall enough you really can't see it driving down the road.
