Threatening violence is another form of terrorism.

Something similar happened to me just last night. I was in Vegas playing at a machine. A drunk guy stumbled by, and bumped into my chair. He then launched into a tirade that included a number of 4 letter words and various insults. But, unlike the folks in this story, I chose not to escalate this encounter into a physical confrontation.

No. Vegas is going downhill. Staffing isn't what it used to be. This was at one of the big casinos in town (MGM), and there wasn't much security presence.
I'm sure they would have come by in a matter of minutes if things had gotten physical. But I tend to go by the adage that the best way to win a fight is to not be there when it happens. As I get older, I find that I value avoiding stupid fights (so pretty much all fights) more than I value affronts to my ego.
