If thunder (sky screaming back if you will...) occurs during this august event, they'll no doubt take it as a positive sign, but if lightening also occurs and frys a few, they just might reconsider their ultimate goofiness...

I've always appreciated the concept of sounding a barbaric yawp across the rooftops of the world, even if that's the only line worth noting from an otherwise tedious work, but I've always thought of it as a celebration of self-sufficiency, not a meaningless act of frustration.

Consider my howls to the heavens as salutes to vanquished obstacles, and heraldry marking battles to be engaged.

Either that, or, like my puppy dogs, I make embarrassing noises if I get scared by fire truck sirens.
