I actually returned to the store early this morning to pay the difference. The store manager informed me that it was a district mistake in the computer and all 7 stores in the district had the same issue. The prices on over 20 types of ammo lost the last digit and it was a Walmart issue, not the single store.

He told me not to worry about the difference, but I finally got him to do it right anyway.

It kept me up all night....at first I thought it was awesome, then I thought about it....and it really wasn't that awesome.

Lesson learned.

I actually wish I would have posted this earlier before most of the posts were made.

But then again, if I wouldn't have got back....all the posts were dead on.

I have no idea what I was thinking at the time.....but I ate myself up over it last night.

Who among us has not made a mistake.

I am proud for you.... that you made it right.

You might want to post the same message over on "1911", they beat you up pretty good over there.

Hang in there.

I have preached and preached to my children that the most important choice they can make in their lives is who they choose for friends. They can either choose friends who will lift them up and be better people or get dragged down in the gutter. It's all about choice.

You should have seen the PMs I got. Everyone was too scared to post that they would have done the same thing originally. I think I got around 60-70 PMs saying to forget what they are saying.....everyone of them would have done the same thing.

So it was an interesting situation. But I did what I felt needed to be done....and it was before they even started to post. They can have their thread.....

I was thinking the same thing. I hope I would have spoke up right away, but I sure don't know if I could have went back. You did it the "not my way", but the "Hard Way." I am still impressed. It is easy to say what you would do and until it happens you don't know. About 1 - 2 years ago my wife was given $15,000.00 in cash by mistake (at the time we were not poor we were almost homeless) and when she discovered the next day she immediatly went back and returned it :mad5 It was the RIGHT thing to do, but. . . . . . I always wondered :?:

Integrity is what you do when only you will know the difference. You either have it or you don't. I, for one, do not think you were a fool for pointing out the right thing.
+1  :iagree:
