All of that is null and void. On State law has to be followed in regard to firearms.

What is the penalty for violating a city's ordinance? Are they equivalent to class c misdemeanors?

Registration is 50 cents. I have thought about carrying into city hall to register my bicycles just to see if they actually take their own ordinances seriously. I've register ed my vehicles and visited the NCAD's office and had no issues so far.All bicycles operated on the streets of the city shall be registered as provided in this chapter. Under the supervision of the chief of police, adequate registration records shall be maintained showing the name and address of the owner of each bicycle operated on the streets of the city
