I got turned off to CTD about four years ago. They had a good deal on bayonets for the Swiss K-31. (If would have been a great deal anywhere else, but when you figure in CTD's exorbitant shipping rates, it was only "good".)
Anyway, this
Texas company wouldn't send a bayonet to my
Texas address, because they said it fell into the category of "illegal knife". So, I have the bayo and a case of ammo shipped to my mother's house in Arkansas. Except the bayo didn't make it: they refused because the billing address on my card was in Texas.
I lit up their customer service, but of course it was too late by then. They were out of those bayonets.
My revenge came just a few months later, when they mistakenly priced Aguila Super Colibri at $4 a brick, instead of $14. I bought a case (would have bought more, but I was broke), and I told everyone I knew about it. I figure when the guys on my C&R mailing lists got through with them, they sold several pallets' worth at less than a third of their cost.
