I think it was a good gamble. We had nothing to lose. If they let it go through before election, Merrick...Hillary wins...Merrick anyway. But that one chance existed to avoid the complete corruption of the Supreme Court.

The Senate would still be majority R's, so, Shillary wouldn't have been able to push through a real Prog.

That's my thinking. I do believe if Trump would have lost, she would have retired. Now she's playing a waiting game.

I agree. The question is if she can live that long. She may just do it.

Now the Democrats are saying the selection should be put on hold. The very same ones who said it should not be for president election. But somehow a mid term congressional race is reason to hold? Unreal!

As long as who ever is picked is a Staunch Constitutionalist I'm good with it!
Now if RBG will be so kind as to make a vacancy by whatever means, that would truly be historic and will be the death of the liberal agenda!
