I agree. The Nashville PD shows how to do it. I travel a lot with my job. When people in other states ask me about Uvalde, my response is that I am ashamed of the TX LEO response in Uvalde.

We had the Uber driver package pick up woman murdered by a homeowner after she arrived to pick up a package made by a scam caller.

Then, there was the man who murdered a college age girl who was driven into the driveway by a lost driver, who decided to fire at the car that came up his driveway.

And then man in Kansas City who opened his door to a young man knocking and shot him, who was at the wrong address to pick up his brother.

Lots of people opening their door coming out side and shooting people who are not a threat to them.
