Sweden has very strict gun laws. Must have a license to possess a gun. Lots of hoops to jump through. Locked storage etc. Automatic weapons by civilians is only allowed in very rare circumstances. Concealed carry is prohibited. Licenses are generally only granted for hunting or target shooting. Self protection is not a valid reason to be granted a license. Traveling in Sweden with a weapon is also very difficult, sounds like you can only travel with a weapon for hunting or for a target shooting competition.
