5th day. Looking very grim. Patients dieing in the hospitals as back up generators fail. People being taken away by the army.
One of the problems with central government control of everything, it is difficult for governments to keep up with the millions of decisions that the private sector normally makes every day as just a matter of their normal work. So governments make decisions with a broad brush, the power is working fine so lets not spend any money on it or lets use those maintenance workers for some other purpose. Then a line fuse pops and a cascade begins and there are too few people to fix it.
Or it was a US cyber attack.

This is the sort of thing that happens when citizens give up their guns. We must never let the corrupt tyrants and weak minded people in this country disarm us. That may very well mean an armed conflict against those that want to destroy the Constitution (and this country) one line at a time.

Rather die fighting than all the above ways.

I wonder if our armed citizens will have the intestinal fortitude to mount an armed conflict if push comes to shove. If those corrupt tyrants send their authortized thugs to collect the guns; they won’t be very friendly.

Largest proven oil reserves in the world. More wealth in the ground than Saudi Arabia. Only took ten years to wreck the country under Socialism. Yet a Socialist could be running our country in 22 months.

I think there are plenty of people with the intestinal fortitude, and the ability. What will be lacking is organization and leadership. The one thing socialists fear is opposing leadership with the ability to organize the masses.

Set up a camp in Colombia, recruit the young men, feed them, train them, arm them then send them to take their country back!

If only we had a organization of men trained to do work like that. Perhaps a regiment with a motto such as “De oppresso liber”.

At this rate it won't be long until our best hope is to set up a camp in Canada, recruit American young men, feed them, train them, arm them, and send them to take their country back!

I don’t believe that many patriots are going to stand by until they are forced to flee their country. Besides, Canada would be more than happy to help the socialist government of FUSA eradicate the deplorable clingers.

Yeah, I believe you are correct. I know many gun owners that are not blind as to what the left side of the government is working on doing to our 2nd amendment rights but they are all pretty much individualists. Getting them to come together in a timely manner to mount an effective resistance would be a challenge.

Focusing popular rage on an external agent has always been the first item in the dictator's playbook.

There are many people in Venezuela that think we have wrecked their country in the last ten years.
I’m sure many in Russia believe we intend to bomb them at any moment.
Many in the US believe Russia got Trump elected.
Iran sentences a woman to 35 years in jail for providing legal assistance to women arrested for not wearing a headscarf. They blame their problems on us as well.
