Personally, I have never understood the desire to police the behavior of other countries' governments regarding their own citizens. I'm sure that some of our laws offend the sensibilities of any number of folks in other countries, but I don't really care to hear them tell us how we should run things.

We have enough problems of our own to sort out without trying to force other countries to do what we think is right with their own people. Now when they start harming U.S. citizens, or going against our national interests, that is a whole 'nuther matter altogether.
