OK... I think we have two threads dedicated to this one, murder by cop???
The focal point for Texas firearms information and discussions

I imagine that is why they were all fired.philip964 wrote: Wed May 27, 2020 8:07 pm Interesting, people ( many are saying they are former law enforcement) who are discussing this on Reddit are saying the other three officers are just as guilty of murder as the man with the knee.
They are using the same argument as the Ahmaud Aubrey murder, the getaway driver is just as responsible.
I think of looting/rioting like road rage. The reason its so infuriating when someone cuts someone else off is because there is no recourse but to get angry. Of course you can just let it go, as cooler heads prevail, but I think the anger just mounts and mounts and mounts. In a situation like this, whats the recourse for a community, for a people? Protest. When protest fails or doesnt go your way, ie police in riot gear shooting and throwing grenades at you, surely anger increases and historically, the next step is violent protest in the form of rioting/looting.strogg wrote: Thu May 28, 2020 8:12 am https://www.foxnews.com/us/armed-citize ... lis-report

It looks like this is turning into another Rodney King. Protests are definitely justified for the events that unfolded. Looting and rioting, not so much.
The rioting and looting is wrong! Every bit as wrong as what they are rioting about.strogg wrote: Thu May 28, 2020 8:12 am https://www.foxnews.com/us/armed-citize ... lis-report

I feel bad for the stores, esp any mom and pops, but the corporate chains have insurance, they will recover. The people being killed will never be brought back to life. If protest leads to looting and rioting, I really dont have a problem with it because I think its the only recourse. Think about it, its why a lot of us believe in 2A, to make sure we can stand up against tyranny. Now, I did read a protester was found shot/killed on the sidewalk....thats certainly not the violence I agree with.
although I dont have a problem with it, meaning I neither support it or disagree with it to a measurable extent, I do say it is at your own risk...03Lightningrocks wrote: Thu May 28, 2020 8:49 amI read the guy shot was robbing a pawn shop but who knows?FastCarry wrote: Thu May 28, 2020 8:42 amI think of looting/rioting like road rage. Some people are opportunists. They will take advantage of a situation like this for their personal gain. " Let no disaster go to waste."cirus wrote: Thu May 28, 2020 11:05 am The people peacefully protesting probably are truely angered by what happened. The ones looting could care less. They don't care that he's dead. Do you think the looters are crying amd sobbing while they loot and pillage? I doubt they have a flat screen in one hand and a tissue in the other wiping their eyes. The looters and rioters should be shot on sight.
