S&W 686 Performance Center, 7 shot loaded with Speer Gold Dot short barrel. It makes a good carry gun and is extremely accurate.

S&W 69 with 4.25” barrel.
How do you like the 69? I’ve just discovered it. A 5 shot 44 mag that is small enough to carry is cool.

OC/OWB - I'd absolutely love to have a S&W 329. Now, I'd probably not carry full house loads in the light little thing. Either .44 Specials or .44Mag downloaded to .44 Special level would be just dandy. Alternatively, one of the 29 variants with a shorter barrel. The 6" on my 629 is a bit much for everyday carry.
CC.... Probably a Ruger LCR in 9mm. (.357 would be nice, but trying to cut down on the number of calibers to keep on hand)

That is a hard choice, there are just so many great revolvers to choose from, both old and new. When I could only carry a revolver, it was an issued S&W Model 65 with a 4 inch barrel and it never let me down.
I always said a Model 19 with a 4 inch barrel was one of the best police revolvers made, though I would probably choose the model 66 so I get the stainless version of it instead. I like Ruger GP100s the same way, stainless and with a 4 inch barrel. The nicest revolver I ever owned was an S&W Model 25-5 in .45 ACP with a six inch barrel, target sight, target trigger, and target grips.
And I know a lot of people I trust who swear that SAPD messed up when they moved away from the S&W .41 Magnum revolver (I don't know which model it was - I joined a little too late for it).
I honestly think it would be a toss up right now between the GP100 in .357 magnum and the $&W Performance Center 625 in .45ACP.

Not sure if I would be comfortable carrying a revolver these days (capacity) but I have both a Taurus Model 85 in .38 Special and a Ruger LCR in .357 Magnum that I used to occasionally carry and keep loaded in different parts of the house. What I do want to pick up sometime soon is a 3" Ruger SP101 in .357 Magnum. Think the 3" SP101 (or similar sized gun) is the perfect compromise between size, weight, and comfort.

I really like it. Quite snappy with mag loads but manageable with specials. Hogue grips are a must

A 44 mag is on my list of must owns. I always tend to stick to a smaller size I can carry easily. You could practice with 44spl and carry magnums

dunno about "carry" but I'd sure like to "own" one of these (VIDEO) for BBQs BECAUSE
this 48 shot revolver (link) would be too tough to holster

If I could only carry ONE revolver, it would be a Dan Wesson 715 with the pistol pack and a complete range of barrels from snub nose to 8 inch.
If I could carry multiple revolvers, then add a S&W J frame to the mix.

I occasionally go back to my roots and still do carry my Ruger GP-100. Stainless. 3"barrel. fixed sights.

It would be my S&W 57 4” .41 mag w/ Hogue grips.

I vote for Ruger GP100. Accurate enough for the purpose and built like a tank. It would take a LOT of hot .357 to wear one out. They do make a 7-shot model.

There are plenty of semi autos with similar capacity to a revolver, the Glock 43 and S&W Shield are two that come to mind. The Performance Center 686 offers 7 rounds in .357 so I think capacity is comparable.

Yep but loaded with .44 Special or the GP100 chambered in .44 Special.
