What on earth does this mean (I know, I can read, just wondering if anyone's gotten it before).
The data you have submitted indicates you may not be eligible for this service. Please verify the data submitted is correct. If you still cannot proceed, please contact DPS at 1-800-224-5744 or email

Go that on the status this morning.

Now I'm REALLY confused.
I logged in on Internet Explorer just to see if I'd get more information - sometimes Firefox isn't compatible with govt websites - and it's just a Processing Application message. This is literally minutes later
I emailed them. I'm not in a position to call at the moment.

MYSTERY SOLVED!
I entered the wrong birthday!
Oh they're going to love me over there. You'd think that entering the wrong DOB, the right DL number, the righ SSN the right PIN and the wrong birthday would bring up a different error message.
I bet they looooooove people like me over there.

I am back in processing. It appears that faxing and mailing the correction made for a relatively swift turn around.

Live and work in Harris County. Currently on day 62 so contacted DPS... surprise of all surprises - they are waiting on the background check from Harris County.

So, definitely won't receive in April at this point. Still hoping for May but realize someone in Harris County would actually have to start completing the background checks for that to happen.

Ok, Really, what is the pin number for??? There really is nothing to check is there? It is just going to say processing until it sayes issued, right? What a waste of time. Wife and I took the chl on Feb 14th.

Welcome to the forum folks.
Unfortunately you just have to be patient on issuance. It can get frustrating waiting for your app to complete, but once ti is, there is joy in CHL-vlle!!

While you are waiting checkout the guntalk radio program. In Houston it is on 950AM Sundays from 1:00-4:00
If it's not in your area go to guntalk.com, you can find all the archived programs.
