I called his office, emailed, tweeted to him, and hit up his Facebook page.

Email sent.
Called and left polite message urging movement on this bill.
I'm looking through the thread now to see what else I can do.

You need Huffines Amendment to send the Bill directly to the Gov. Right now without it they would need to send it to a Conference Committee which would take more time and both Houses would have to vote it again. We're running out of time.

It wouldn't go to a conference committee unless the House refused to concur. The concurrence vote only needs a simple majority to pass. If it gets that simple majority, it goes to the Gov.
If the House did not concur, only then would it go to a conference committee, where a compromise would be found.

Called his secretary and spoke to her about HB910 and SB 273 this afternoon. Email link doesn't work for my aol mail. I emailed my rep and senator yesterday, but I know they both will be opposing the bill.

Now it's back to the House and Straus egos. It's not done yet. Especially after the shot Dan Patrick to at the house on his Facebook pages. He is one clumsy politician.

Well, the bill passed the Senate and is heading back to the house.
Oops, what is this? They uncovered a "clerical error" that must be hashed out first (time killer here).
Imagine that. An employee screwed up the wording in the OC paperwork. Again. It's not a coincidence people.
