I hope he makes a good tidy sum from them. They beat the drums of racist loud and hard and got a man who was attacked and defended himself only at the last (as evidenced by the video) charged with second degree murder. It is about time they were held accountable for their words.

While the analysis includes GPS locating records for Mr. Martin's phone for all of the time he was in the Sanford area, specifically absent is any such data from February 26, 2012, the date of the event," O'Mara wrote.
"Maybe it's coincidence, but I'm way past [believing it's] coincidence," O'Mara said.
There needs to be an separate investigation of the prosecution in this case. The matter is too high profile and carries to much public sentiment for there to be unacceptable activity by the prosecution. We don't need another Mike Nyfong.

Why would the prosecutors not want to play fair. Are they attempting to railroad the defendant? Are we not after the truth?

This special prosecutor makes Nifong look like a candidate for an ABA Ethics Award.

They have been railroading Zimmerman since day one. Just a few days ago, a story was "leaked" about Zimmerman supposedly being a child-molester, a charge against which there is no defense because there are no other witnesses than the person making the accusation, who claims to be the victim. On the one hand, you've got the prosecutor's office asking the judge to issue a gag order against the defense so that the defense may not make any public statements in their client's favor, and on the other hand, you've got people sympathetic to the prosecution dragging Zimmerman's name through the mud with unprovable and unsubstantiated charges. This is a travesty against justice. This case would have never lasted this long in Texas, and it would have probably gone in the accused's favor. Once reliably conservative Florida is no longer so (thanks to Obama's grassroots campaign support (i.e. SEIU, ACORN, et al), and the bankruptcy of hard leftist ideology has polluted Florida's political environment. That is the ONLY reason—that and flat out racist race-baiting african-american attorneys who have no official capacity but who are "consulted" by the prosecutor's office—is why this case lingers on.

Maybe my remark wasn't clear. By "you're kidding" I meant: why would the prosecutor play fair; yes, it's a straight up railroad job; and no, they don't care about the truth at all, only the politics.

I was being somewhat sarcastic. (no smilie for that other than the wink one) But on the other hand, I believe a prosecutor should be after the truth not to find the arrested person guilty. Maybe I am naive, or maybe that's what a prosecutor is suppose to do, but instead they go after notches in their belt. I would have trouble sleeping if I was a prosecutor and I sent an innocent man to jail, especially if it was due to me hiding evidence that showed the innocence. America and society deserves the truth here, not a fabricated railroad job. Let the chips fall were they may.

Unfortunately from my experience many prosecutors are not interested in justice. The only truth that interests them is what may support their case and they're willing to obfuscate any thing that would help prove innocence. It's about the win. Of course defense lawyers try to keep any thing that would point to guilt under the radar as well, but prosecutors have much more information and evidence. It's a game of who can use parts of the truth to the best advantage, not the whole truth.

Just a thought, he could have been a good witness and not gone after the alleged "suspicious person"...............

Legally speaking, though, aren't prosecutors legally required to turn over all their evidence to the defense? I'm not sure if defense attorney's are required to do the same. Am I wrong?

The evidence suggests that he was not following the alleged "suspicious person". It also suggests that the "suspicious person" had been smoking marijuana and was a regular user of "drank".
