They might be a forum member. I think we'll know if somebody comes on & says "hey! I got somebody else's license! What gives?"

You have no idea. I was already planning to go out to dinner then stop by wally world on the way home...I guess plenty of people have waited far longer than most of us Jan folk though, so can't complain too much.

jmdevera, have you gotten a reply to your email from DPS? IIRC, you sent one recently.

They told me "We ask if you could please allow 7-10 days for delivery."

So i guess on day 11 if it comes to it ill be referring to the email they sent me. I just come home now NOT expecting it to be there...helps me feel less disappointed!

PS i think i've figured out that the YOUNGER you are, the FASTER you get your license - DOH !!!
rwood receivied her plastic on 2-9-10. Only sixteen days from hand deliver of paperwork to "Application Complete--License issued and only four days from website update to license in hand. Twenty-one days total. Not bad at all.

Well I received my card today, that's pretty impressive seeing as they received the app on the 11th and it was approved/completed only on Friday. Now I get to spend a most pleasant weekend looking for a new carry gun.
I hope those of you January apps that are still waiting don't have to wait too much longer. Seeing that envelope in the mailbox and bending it to see if there's plastic inside is something else.

:woohoo After a few anxious days watching the mailbox, got my plastic today YAY!

Hope all the other January apps get theirs soon, seem to be processing them a whole lot quicker than 'the old days'.

FYI, for those still waiting, or for those Feb. submissions who may be viewing this thread, my CHL was listed as "Application complete - license issued" on Feb 5. however when I received the CHL on Feb 9, the envelope was postmarked Feb 8. My belief is that when the license has been printed and put in the envelope, it may sit at DPS for a day or two, or the weekend, depending on when it is issued. Patience is a virtue!

Nairb - what did DPS say when you contacted them re: receiving the completely wrong license?!
