I'm still "under review" ..... Looks like I'm destined to be the last April applicant to get his CHL, assuming I actually do get approved.

Today marks 60 days from when DPS acknowledged receipt (04/10) of my document package mailed on 04/03.

I'm waiting and our dates match up. So we'll be the last 2 waiting lol.

Maybe it's because I donated to the Tea Party?

LOL!! The thought has crossed my mind!!

Seems the TX DPS CHL section is down at the moment. . . . . I only confirmed approx. 5x, I'll go check again

Well, I was hoping you was right. You and I were both updated to mailed on the same day, but I did not receive mine in the mail today. Dang it. I sure hope they come tomorrow. I leave for vacation starting tomorrow evening. I would sure like to have mine before I leave.

Same here, Imsoright. Status updated to "Mailed" on June 7 ... but my CHL did not come in the mail today.

I came home a few days early from my camping trip just to catch the mail. And then I came home for lunch today, hoping to catch the mail truck.

But it just led to disappointment.

My heart did speed up, though ... TWICE, actually ... the first time, when I heard the mail truck coming up the street; alas, I went through the mail and no CHL.

About three minutes later, however, the mail truck, while delivering mail on the other side of the street, popped a U-turn in the middle of the street, came back to my mailbox, and put something in it! "YES!!!," I thought! "He forgot to put the CHL correspondence in my mailbox, and he returned to deliver it!"

Alas ... no dice.

Instead, it was a golf shirt and cap from Rush Limbaugh, a premium for the donation I made to his 2013 Leukemia & Lymphoma Cure-A-Thon. It was the first time I've ever been disappointed to hear from Rush.

Cap and shirt from Rush ain't bad at all.

Another day goes by and I'm still "under review." 61 days since DPS acknowledged receipt of the documents. 68 days since the package was dropped off with the USPS.

At least I did get in today 825 rounds of 22LR. And some Troy Industries goodies. And was able to order another 525 rounds of 22LR.
