I'd be camped out by the mailbox if I were you! lol hopefully I get my first update soon, I mailed mine in on oct 17th!

Well I see i'm not the only one in the boat. lol Sent my application in on 10/10/2013 and still no update that they even received my packet yet. Has anyone heard anything ? The waiting game not knowing stinks lol

They are working on applications received the 2nd week of October right now. I mailed mine October 9th. Received my first up date Wednesday, and today it shows mailed. You should see something very soon.

Yes! Today it shows "Mailed". Documents were submitted by snail mail October 9th.

Which comes first? Printing or manufacture pending? Was told on the phone today that it had been sent to printing. It still hasn't updated from background under review on the site yet.

It won't update for 1-2 days, website is 1-2 days behind what they show.

Well I think the US Postal Service has misplaced my license. It was showing mailed on Monday but I checked the mail and there has been nothing. :-(

Probably due to extra Xmas traffic.



Did my app on Oct 10, Fingerprints Oct 14, sent paperwork Oct 15. USPS delivered OCT 17. Anxiously waiting here.

I emailed my paperwork to DPS on 10/27 and got this message,
"Hello,The Texas Department of Public Safety - Regulatory Services Division received your request for assistance and we look forward to serving you. Your patience is appreciated while we research and follow up on your specific needs. Please allow sufficient time for a complete response."
but i read on here that someone got this message,
"On the 11/18/13 I received an email from DPS saying "We have received the documents attached to your email. This information will be forwarded to a CHL Specialist for review and processing."
Now I'm a little worried ????
