Nothing shows how badly he can be beaten by Cruz more than this if you ask me. This shows he can’t get enough support domestically to pull off the win. I hope these losers bleed Soros dry and he dies broke in a sheltermojo84 wrote: Thu Sep 13, 2018 12:33 pm Beto going back to his NY sugar daddies for more money.

No. It would not be better. They are California democrats. They deserve the state they’re getting ....because they helped to screw it all up. I’d rather let them stew in it. But that doesn’t change my opinion of their posting a Beto sign in their California lawn. What are they trying to do? Encourage Californians to vote - illegally - in the Texas senatorial election?dale blanker wrote: Thu Sep 13, 2018 12:06 amHey wait, what? Don’t think for a moment that out of staters with no morals aren’t trying to flip Texas from the comfort of their own homes (assuming they own them). I’m thinking of making a Cruz sign and sneaking over there at night before we leave and putting it in his yard next to the BETO sign.![]()

How do you know they're immoral? Wouldn't it be better (and safer) to have a talk with the resident(s) and explain the error of their ways?

Hey wait, what? Aren't Californians Americans too? Shouldn't they be interested in other state's politicians whose vote can effect them? Could that Beto sign belong to a Texan who happens to have a place in California too?The Annoyed Man wrote: Thu Sep 13, 2018 8:06 pmNo. It would not be better. They are California democrats. But if you want to vote for that lying cretin, be my guest.
Like any election it's about which side turns out. If we're motivated enough to turnout the numbers just don't allow for a Beto win, if we don't, and they are more motivated he can.cprems wrote: Wed Apr 18, 2018 11:33 pm Once again the tabloid fish wrap known as the Texas Tribune has weighed in on several polls that were for the most part D+5 . O'Rourke has NO chance. They are deliberately skewing the polls to make it seem that he has a chance in Texas against a well liked and well respected Senator. I wouldn't be surprised if Cruz won in a 60-40 blowout!
If one were to study the primary races Dem v Repub, Senator Cruz received 500K more votes than ALL the Dems combined. I don't care how much Beto raises, I'll send some money to Cruz but our family are a guaranteed Cruz vote in November! There simply aren't enough Dems to out vote the solid red State. There is no blue wave coming!
Remember Gov Abbott and Dan Patrick are on the November ballot and they are also very well liked. I'll also make a prediction, there will be peace on the Korean peninsula in the coming months.
Your acquaintance is a moron, those are among the poorest reasons for voting for someone I've ever heard.Grundy1133 wrote: Thu Sep 13, 2018 9:25 pm i just had a conversation with an acquaintance of mine... and omg people are so content/lazy/whatever it may be... but i posted an article about how beto is going to new york to get money to try and slither his way into texas....
Me: "this guy is a deceptive snake in the grass! EVERYONE needs to get out and vote against this socialist come November!"
friend: "Yeah, but have you met the guy. He's pretty persuading. I don't have a dog in this fight, but if my choices are beto or cruz, I'm choosing the guy that can ride a skateboard. The guy that looks like he could sit down and shoot the breeze with you, maybe share a beer or two. The guy that used to be in a punk rock band. Why not Beto? Don't send me a link debating this question. I don't care. We're a superficial nation. I'm going with the guy that looks cool."
Me: " you wont be shooting much of anything when he wants to take your guns away... hes anti gun and has socialist views. just not something i approve of."
I don't see how people just dont care and wanna vote for someone who "Seems cool" like seriously? you're a GROWN MAN! you're 34 years old! stop acting like a stoner teenager and go do some research! Your vote not only affects you but affects everyone else in this state also! dont go vote for someone just because he "seems cool"! geez!
The dem's have pulled out all the stops and are pouring millions into this race from out of state. They are desperate to break the statewide red barrier to make the state competitive again.DevilDawg wrote: Thu Sep 13, 2018 8:00 pmNothing shows how badly he can be beaten by Cruz more than this if you ask me. Are they Americans too? Barely. You should spend more time out here .... like I do. Hell, maybe you’d like it better here than back in the free states.dale blanker wrote: Thu Sep 13, 2018 10:58 pmHey wait, what? Aren't Californians Americans too? Yes, I have spent a lot of time there (and still have friends and relatives there) but mostly further south in California. Yet, here in Texas is where my daughter and her family are so I will mostly stay here but thanks for the suggestion. It's too bad that you have not met some nice folks in California but they are there, lots of them. The Annoyed Man wrote: Fri Sep 14, 2018 10:10 amAre they Americans too? Barely.
