Video on TM phone released shows two men fighting. TM voice can be heard so Zimmermans attorneys want to introduce it for that reason, not that it shows him recording a fight. Recording a fight one day doesn't provide proof that you would get in a fight the next day. Right.

Jury being selected. Some kind of Hoodie protest is being planned nationwide. Thugs and trouble makers are expressing their freedom of speech as is their right.

All of us that have skin that burns easily and is deficient in melanin count need to stay out of the impoverished minority neighborhoods until this whole thing is done and over with for a while. If he is convicted there could be celebratory riots and if he is acquitted then there will be race riots in the cities. Either way this goes down it is going to be bad. So be smart people.

I hope in the interest of justice that the facts will come to light and that this will not be "lets give this man a fair trial before we hang him." Right now it looks that way.

I think whether or not any riots occur will be almost entirely the product of media coverage. If the media provide the same kind of inflammatory coverage they did at the beginning it will be a deliberate attempt to provoke riots. However, if Z isn't convicted, the media may not want to play it up since the only two possible tacks are to call the verdict, and hence, the jury, racist (unless they can attack one or two jurors as racist for opposing the majority), or, to leave everyone wondering about their previous coverage. If he is convicted they can crow about how their coverage resulted in "justice." I think the matter is largely forgotten and will require quite a bit of media gasoline to stoke the flames.

Actually, they're wanting to introduce that video to use the voice recording as a sample of Trayvon's voice. That would be used to to show it was Zimmerman yelling for the help in the other recording, and not Trayvon's voice.

I think this is an interesting statement in the article:

There is no way this man is going to get a fair trial. Did they request a change of venue? So much has happened I don't remember

The left continues to try to make this more than it is, to put self defense on trial. The President of the "National Urban League" says

"Everything else about this case is complicated by the issues of race, the unsuccessful attempt by Zimmerman’s defense to put Trayvon’s background on trial and Zimmerman’s claim of self-defense that is rooted in Florida’s questionable Stand-Your-Ground law."

and they continue to try to demonize targeted racial groups.

Is it going to be hard for Zimmerman to get a fair trial? And, if he does and wins, at what cost to civil unrest? Only thing we know for sure is this thing is a mess. "White Hispanic"? [in no way being negative about great, hardworking, family oriented Hispanics] I guess that is a Republican Hispanic.... But that term seems to have been invented to make this case about white America.
