when do the capital police that opened up the HARDENED entry doors, that OPEN outward and motioned for the people to come in..get jail time? we all watched it live on cspan?? no way the "visitors" at that side door opened it up. NO WAY it locks from inside automatically and is used for wheel chair access and is a security door, it has to be manually opened from inside with a panic bar or a PERSON..the person i saw was a CAPITAL police man

Congressman who used to be the principal of a school pulled a fire alarm to disrupt a critical congressional vote while his colleagues were attempting to use legal maneuvers to delay the vote to authorize the budget to keep the federal government open.

I think this is the same crime that the Capitol penetrators were accused of.

However, the Congressman says he was confused and thought the fire alarm, with the word fire on the red handle was used to unlock the nearby exit doors that were equipped with panic devices that open automatically when the bar is pushed. Of course using the fire exit to go from the cCongressional building to the Capitol is rarely if ever done since there are convenient tunnels for this purpose which everyone uses. This is called deny deny deny. Regardless of how stupid it makes you look.

The fire alarm was not inside a tamper case that is used to at most schools. The alarmed clear plastic case surrounding true fire alarm is used to prevent vandal and false alarms since it requires more effort to open the plastic case and then pull the real alarm.
