That sounds absurd. Article reads like more of a "send us money" ad. There are plenty of vbloggers (GarandThumb, etc) who have shown that the AR (10 or 15) is the choice weapon over there. 5.45 AK-74 sniping is gonna be a short range affair.

There are lots of good sniping rounds/platforms... (5.56mm DMR, .308, 6.5CM, .338 Lapua, 50BMG, etc) but 5.45 isn't one of them.
