My question is why do we report gun purchases but no one pays attention to someone who buys a lot of guns?

Just because someone buys a lot of guns or ammo doesn't mean they want to kill people. There's lots of folks on this forum that do that.

I have looked for this information, but cannot find it anywhere. I suspect that the "500 casualties" are not all from GSW and I suspect that less than half are from gunfire.

Many of the injured were actually from falling, twisted ankles/knees, being trampled, etc. I have only seen 2-3 people interviewed that actually had GSW's.

Hopefully those numbers will come to the surface as more details are released.

That gave them a 6 minute head start to stop him.

If a security guard was shot why wasn't every armed security person LEO or not who was on the property, at that guys room with in 5 minutes. I don't understand.

Someone got some explaining to do.

What other “facts” that have been released aren’t accurate or even true?

Crud, this is going to put a ding in the stats - http://www.cnn.com/2017/10/09/us/las-ve ... index.html
In the deposition, Paddock said he had a concealed weapons license in Texas, but, other than that, there was no discussion of guns.

The only reason to report multiple purchases is so the government can add people to "the list"

New disclosure shows a casino guard alerted hotel to gunman before Vegas massacre began. So why did it take so long to stop him? - Los Angeles Times
https://apple.news/AkuTx_jA5QZqNjsQwl650yg

Lots of stuff LA Times has found out, that Sheriff's office hasn't released.

Had survivalist gear in room and home.

Tracer ammunition.

Bullet resistant vest.

Police and armed hotel security arrived at room at same time after his rampage had stopped.

An attorney for one victim, has used the word negligence. Hotel owned by MGM.

High speed elevators serve 32 no floor.

Security guard called in the shooting after he got out of line of fire.

No cameras in hallways only elevator lobbies.

Camera and radio time stamps are not accurate, supposedly.

That six minutes is really bothering me, I don’t understand at all. Something very, very different should have happened given those 6 minutes.
