Kavanaugh's opening statement was powerful... ford is lucky she can't "remember" a date or place... his calendars would kill it in it's tracks... makes you wonder if it [the lack of specificity] was always so he couldn't defend it in absolution.

He most certainly needs to be confirmed- he's awesome

I didn’t listen, watch or read anything about the hearings today. However I know what both sides are saying about them.
Communists/leftists/socialists/progressives/Democrats&RINOs: “Today proves Kavanaugh should not be confirmed!”
Conservative Republicans and Normal people: “Today proves Kavanaugh should be confirmed!”

I enthusiastically agree with the first part of your statement and regretfully agree with the second part.

Because a vote for anyone else is a vote for the bullies.
You have that backwards. Voting for somebody who aids and abets a bully is like voting for the bully herself.

Go ahead and vote for the status quo if you want. You may fool yourself but don't expect woke normals to see a pro-swamp vote as anything other than a pro-swamp vote. .
You're the one that has it backwards.

We've all heard, or at least read about, the lunatic ravings of the Dimocraps... including many who already hold office.

They abhor the Second Amendment, so it's got to go. Free speech only applies if the speech is something they agree with, so everything else must be banned as "hate speech". Religion is hatred and racism incarnate, so there goes the First Amendment. ...And the list goes on.

Republicans do a lot of things I don't agree with, but they're the best defense we have against the Socialism which the left wants to ram down our throats.

The simple reality is that, at least for now, have a two-party system. That means that it's all a numbers game. Whichever of those two parties gets the most votes wins. If you don't add a vote to the side that best supports your views, then you weaken that side. This is almost the equivalent to a gain for the other side.

As the great parliamentarian Edmund Burke said, “The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.”

It's very unlikely that any of us will ever see a politician we agree with 100% of the time. Holding out for that is a fools errand.

This guy was questioning Kavanaugh about unsubstantiated and uncoroborrate sexual assault accusations.

I know this will go nowhere, but is it against federal or state law to know about a crime... for example: Feinstein... and fail to report it to authorities?

Which state? It’s against MD state law for Feinswine to not report a crime that someone told her about in California or DC?

Breaking: Senate Will Move Ahead With Planned Floor Vote on Kavanaugh
Senate Republicans confirmed Thursday evening that they will be moving ahead with a committee vote and then a floor vote on Supreme Court nominee Judge Brett Kavanaugh.

Sen. John Cornyn (R-TX) told reporters that the Senate Judiciary Committee plans to hold a vote on Friday morning. The full Senate will then hold an initial procedural vote Monday and the final vote on his nomination will likely take place Tuesday.
