For what it's worth, DPS showed mine mailed on Saturday, April 13, it was postmarked April 18, it arrived Saturday, April 20th. My wife's CHL only took 6 days. That being said, I've seen lots of folks get theirs in 3 or 4 days after it showed mailed.

I am joining the party also. My status changed 4/7 to background check pending and still waiting. Since we are waiting, will some pop some popcorn? LOL

Applied online and mailed materials 2/15...mine still says Fingerprints: Under Review and Background Check : Under Review...this is getting old...

Finally in the system after 9 weeks (63 days) Made my appointment for 5/6 to be fingerprinted. Its nice to finally be in the system and not get the *error* message when I log in.

This is getting frustrating. Everyone I know who applied after me here locally has gotten their card already.
I mailed mine 2/15
Mother-in-law mailed hers 2/21 and has hers
I am seeing folks mailed in March already getting theirs...mine has said Background check under review for about a month now...

Got my fingerprints done yesterday so hopefully my BG check does not take long. Hope to have plastic by the end of the month.
