Not germane (among a bunch of reasons)
I understand that.
SB11 is essentially dead. Strauss isn't going to allow a vote on it.
Does everyone agree? Is there ANY life left in SB11
I'm holding my opinion until SB19 is finished.
If you look at the Supplemental House Calendar for today, you will see that SB19 is the only bill on the Emergency Calendar, 2nd Reading. The next one on the Supplemental House calendar is on the Major State Calendar 2nd reading, SB206. THEN comes SB11, 2nd reading.
If the House follows the Calendar then IMHO there's a chance they can get to SB11. If they don't then I think it's dead. Just IMO.

19 was postponed, then 206 was postponed until 10 (i believe.) If 19 finishes before then, I think 11 is up.

They have three hours to get through 10-15 amendments I bet. It's going to be close.

Amazing how much some of them value being able to keep their dealings secret and not being recorded.
If they don't want to be recorded, don't speak.

I hate to say, I actually agree with Stickland and this amendment, but let's get to a vote.

So now I can't take a picture of a public Rep out in public? That's what they want (more so for the women)...

It is! The Reps just want an exemption solely for them...

Some don't want to be in the public eye but they want to be state legislators. Rep. Cook is wrong and it makes me wonder what he wants to hide.
This is ridiculous.
I actually agree with Stickland on a lot of issues. It's his amateurish clumsy tactics and poor to no strategy he employs.

Seems like they're missing the point of the section. It just stops the recording of the conversations. W/O reading the bill, it seems like it doesn't stop the activities. People can still stop and ask questions w/o recording the conversations. I don't see how it offers any protection to the female members.
