Welcome onboard. Where did you take the CHL class?
I am in League City and they had to check records in Harris and Fort Bend counties. I got to my mail yesterday and have plastic in hand. 64 days.ExMarlboroMan wrote:
Another League City'er here. I lived in Houston/Harris county my whole life though untill 2007. So I've got records from Harris and Galveston , hope that doesn't throw 'em too far off from the 60 day mark!

I can only think of a handful of words to describe my anger, and most of them start with "F".
Is that the guy that advertises outside of the Martial Arts place on 518 near Meadowbend? How was he?ExMarlboroMan wrote:I took it at Clear Creek gun range with Mr. Al Trug.

No wonder you're pack'n!!!!!!!!!USA1 wrote: unfortunately my work takes me there everyday . and not the nice areas either .
Don't know if he advertises there or not. He was a stand up guy, and made the class both educational and fun. I've read alot of negative stuff on the interweb about the range, and about the owner Al Trug, but i have never had a bad experience there. I'm not close enough to hear the shots, though i do get to hear the foot ball games!Kevinf2349 wrote:Is that the guy that advertises outside of the Martial Arts place on 518 near Meadowbend? Congrats CHLady!!!
That must have been you I heard shooting you guns over there! We live within earshot of the gun range if the wind is from the right direction it sounds like a small war has broken out somedays!
We have only ever shot there one time despite the fact we live so close. We heard that the guy that runs it can be a little Hilter sometimes. We had no issues but having said that....he wasn't there that day!
