Your fingerprints have been received. Consider yourself lucky, there are a lot of people that submitted in July whose fingerprints are in cyberspace somewhere. If the only thing you are waiting on is the BG check and then manufacturing, you are doing very well.

I also read from a few members that it updates anywhere from 1am to 8am. Even on weekends. Not sure what that's all about.

My guess is that their computer system is updated in real-time, but they run a nightly batch job to update the web site. The batch job runs sometime between 1a-8a, and reflects the status as of business close the previous day. You'll see Friday's status Saturday morning and see Monday's status Tuesday morning. Since I doubt they work Sat-Sun, you'll probably not see updates Sunday or Monday.

I'm sure there are already threads on here discussing the batch updates, but I'm too lazy to look for them, so this is my best guess.

I just hope I have it by my birthday in October.
