Not here. Wish I could hear them.
Why did they have to wait until "Wipeout" was on?

POO is sustained
bill goes back to Senate
House ignoring 1581 (to take back whatever action it may choose) (to remove campus carry)

Someone would probably drop a big fat POO on any attempt to try that too.

Straus says House has gone more than halfway. "It is now time for the Senate to do its part by making additional spending cuts."
Straus statement suggests they are not as close to a budget deal as signs have indicated all day.

Now really mad at House Calendars saying 750 didn't move because it couldn't pass Senate when Senate has no problem, it's the House ...
Wonder how many NRA ratings just changed ... probably none, no vote taken to see ...

If we had a Speaker who gave a single hoot about concealed carry, HB 750 would have been on the calendar months ago and would be making its way through the chambers if not already passed. But we don't have that. Clearly there needs to be more change in the Texas legislature before common sense will finally reign. Right now legislators things it's perfectly fine for them to carry anywhere they want, but the common people can't be trusted to be responsible. It's a sad day for Texas, but perhaps it's better that the crippled version of campus carry that was in SB 1581 be killed so that we can get true campus carry for all Texans, no matter what type of university they attend. We clearly have a lot of work to do to get people to understand why carry matters, why self defense matters and why logic should rule the day rather than childish emotions.
It's now clear that I will never be able to carry at work before I retire.
