As previously posted, I received my plastic on Thursday.

There are rumors circulating that I slept with my new CHL under my pillow that night.

I refuse to confirm any such rumors.

I don't blame you though, I'm currently watching throughout the front windows of the house towards our mailbox... waiting on the mail lady to come

Looks like I'll get it next week.

Congrats on those who got theirs. Once you get the BG finished, the updates appear to be daily or near daily.

Today is 67 days from DPS receiving my paperwork (April 10) to manufacturing.

I know! I woke up this morning thinking "it's Monday !". Only to quickly realize I was wrong

Well have to admit I was a bit shocked. Mailed 6/12/13 and received Saturday 6/15/2013. I have to give the DPA credit. 60 days exactly from the time they received my package to the date they mailed the CHL. Taking into account there was a holiday, extended weekend, and with the high volumn it appears they have, 2 thumbs up for my timeline

I guess the least I can do when trying to give the department some cudos is not have a typo on their initial. Thanks to the TX DPS for keeping with the timelines!

No CHL yet in the mailbox ...
