I heard that particular bit of bovine product go by when she uttered it yesterday, and uttering the immortal words of Rep. Joe Wilson, R-SC, I yelled at the computer "YOU LIE!". I probably would have gotten ejected from the hearing, there was a lot of nonsense peddled by the anti- crowd at that hearing.

I'll wager a day's pay that the committee could see straight through that veiled attempt to speak factually. Notice that no committee member asked her any questions. They wanted her gone so they could let the next person speak. But no one that I saw after her could offer anything of substance either.

I agree and I noted that as well. But I think I am madder today than yesterday. Stunts like that are loathsome.

Gun control groups have been making this claim for years, on the basis that Texas no longer releases ARREST data on CHL holders. They completely ignore the fact that Texas still releases CONVICTION data on CHL holders.

I don't want to be greedy but I would like to have access to a clip that contains the sheriff of McLennan county's comments. I want to share it with my sheriff. I understand he didn't say much about open carry other than he supports it if it is licensed like chl.
