That is imposing the patients beliefs on the doctor and pharmacist. If the patient doesn't like it, they can find another doctor or pharmacist.

So, to me, it sounds like we need to remove the religious involvement in medicine.

What's the point of having morals (whatever their source) if you're not at least trying to live by them?

Edit: I mean it seems to me that your position is that any moral disagreements are automatically one party imposing their beliefs on the other, but that simply isn't the case. If I were a doctor and I refused to do a certain procedure or prescribe certain drugs, I'm not preventing you from doing anything, nor am I requiring you to do anything you find morally wrong; I'm merely refusing to participate in something I believe to be wrong. Preventing you from finding a different doctor who'll help you would be imposing my beliefs.
