I mailed mine on March 11 I got my palstic on 5-11 62 days Was in background for 7 days - 5 minus the weekend.

I know its tough but the length of the background check depends on several things - not just arrest/conviction history. Mine, for example, includes four addresses in two states which I know will make my background take longer than someone who has lived in one place for the last 10 years.

It will happen - I have to keep telling myself that too!

I tell myself the same thing everyday!! I have lived in the same place for last 16 years!

I was only in background check for about 3-4 days.

After 49 days of sending my paperwork in and checking the dps website everyday i finally got an update all in green except backround thats still "under review"
But i do have one question i called dps before my update and they said backround check was complete so could something had happen? And also guys and ladies i was updated on a sunday WOW almost there just have to wait paciently

I think DPS system updates every 48hrs, I don't think DPS works on Saturday. The Sunday updates we get must be from Friday.

So maybe mine will say br complete tommorrow i sure do hope so and thank for the response

New to board, Sent all req. docs late march 1st..been in back ground cheek for just over a month now and getting impatient...

FYI, Mine did indeed update to BG complete and Manufacturing Pending this past Saturday morning May 11th around 730am. I have been checking every day, had no updates friday or sunday.

There is no telling with DPS, I assume they are off on the weekend cause my BG check was under review Fri and Sat, Sunday it updates to complete.

For those who have been in BG status for a while you are not alone. I can't remember when I finally got put into the system but I have been in BG status for 2-3 weeks.

One more step ahead this morning. Went from Manufacturing pending to Manufacturing.

Are the updates from the previous day? I was in manufacturing pending yesterday and manufacturing today. Does it mean that my plastic was made yesterday will be put in the mail pile today?
