Go for the Kimber Aegis Ultra II. It's a better pistol. Mine - no FTF's or FTE's deadly accurate out of the box. Lighter than my buddy's EMP by a hair. My buddies EMP- FTE's and FTf's left and right. He's ready to send it back to Springfield. He has 300+ rounds out of it so far and still can't trust it to carry. Buy what's made in the USA!

Did your buddy fluff and buff it before using it. Also the EMP requires a little extra love in the oil department.

so im wondering, has anyone ever picked up a 1911 that wasnt accurate (fixed sights)??? everyone and their step children describes their 1911 as being "deadly accurate, nail driver, hair splitter, etc"....

I know. And 1911 mavens always go on and on about just how they seem to "naturally point" at the target. What's up with that?
