For anyone to be upset over someones opinion on a forum board, says they don't have much to be upset over in life, High Gas Prices, crime, etc... So, people can be upset over anything they wish, doesn't bother me.
Why do people have CHL's anyway?.who are you Protecting yourself from?, I have one, don't mind telling you who I'm protecting myself from, Criminals, Blacks, Mexicans, whites. If you have a CHL, and your protecting yourself and family from those people I mentioned above, then you have a problem with the same "THEMS" as I mentioned above. And your questioning me.
You'll be alright.
This isn't the first time you've done this, but it will be your last. This is your last warning. I'm highly offended that you would include our black and Hispanic TexasCHLforum members in your global condemnation. And no, I'm not being politically correct, I'm just not going to allow TexasCHLforum to be a bully pulpit for this garbage. The original poster followed the above-quoted rule by simply describing the events.Forum Rules wrote:3. No racial or ethnic slurs. Descriptions of persons in actual events are fine, so long as it doesn’t constitute stereotyping.
I apologized because you were correct about illegal alien crime in Houston. You apparently took that apology to mean you can violate the forum rules.Briankey wrote:That you can't point out what was racial, what words?, nobody said the "N" word. I can always come back as some other name.
Its funny how people will apologize to me like you did not long ago for being correct about the problem in Houston, then condemn me for voicing my opinion and wanting to stomp on my rights, simply because some people don't like what I said, even though off the forum most know I'm right.
Has Black, Ghetto, White, urban terrorist now become racial words?.
Forgive me for sticking my oar in here, but as a European, I have to ask: what does 'cracker' mean? Over here, it's a savoury biscuit.Briankey wrote:Someone using the term "Cracker" in their post about White people is an ethnic slur no matter how its used, but when someone responds to a post doing the same thing its Illegal?. Your not making sense of your own rules your enforcing. If you want to be precise, then any ethnic slur is illegal regardless of how its used. I think that rule is vague and Two faced.
Cracker is the racial insult that racist Blacks call White Anglo Americans.israel67 wrote:Forgive me for sticking my oar in here, but as a European, I have to ask: what does 'cracker' mean? Thanks for that. I'd sort of 'deduced', and checked out google. I teach the 'n' word to my pupils, but emphasise that if they ever use it against a human, they're likely to get their lights punched out.longtooth wrote:Cracker is the racial insult that racist Blacks call White Anglo Americans.israel67 wrote:Forgive me for sticking my oar in here, but as a European, I have to ask: what does 'cracker' mean? It equates to a White calling the Black the "N" word.
Here a real cracker is still the savoury biscuit you mention. The go great w/ an apple for snack or w/ Crunchy Peanutbutter. I never grew up.
You are not alone, I also don't understand what it means. I think that it means a white country person. I guess that would make me a cracker and many of the people here.israel67 wrote:Forgive me for sticking my oar in here, but as a European, I have to ask: what does 'cracker' mean? I can understand that the 'n' word offends. If someone's being a jerk, then by all means call him one. But by calling a black person the 'n' word, you're not judging him on his own, personal behaviour (which is prima facie legitimate), but on aspects of his physical appearance over which he has no control.Liberty wrote:You are not alone, I also don't understand what it means. Words are only as offensive as we the recipient let them be. They only have the power that we allow them to have. They are only words after all.
We teach our children, "Sticks and stones can break my bones, but names will never hurt me." Its too bad adults forget things when we grow up.
Yeah, but I'm not gonna let it bother me either if someone calls me a cracker, or even a potato chip, even though I would prefer they just call me Liberty or even Ray.israel67 wrote: I can understand that the 'n' word offends. You (the generic 'you') wouldn't insult someone because he has brown eyes, so there's no reason to insult him because he has black skin; especially since study after study after study has disproved any notion of so-called 'superiority' based on something as superficial as the colour of one's epidermis.
Just my 2€....
