Looks to me like we are paying people to fix things that don't need fixin'. Is there really a problem with forged CHLs? Sheesh.Wonder how much the redesigned licence has cost the taxpayer, who is making money on this, and who they contributed money too?

Bro. got his CHL yesterday (very first one - he just turned 21 in August). New design...oh so very, very ugly.
Glad my old, cool license is good for another few years. :)

I cant wait till I have it, but.. I dont like the way it looks, not only that, but my picture is BAD! I had worked 2 jobs the day before 22 hours all together, I only had 2 hours of sleep. I looked like a crazy man haha. Is going to be a beautiful license

I always thought the old design looked too much like the French flag turned to a 45 degree angle...
This new version looks too much like the Texas DL now tome...Too easy to grab the wrong one in a situation where you might not want someone other than Law Enforcement to know what that ID really is...
But what the heck...Our government is notorious for changing somethings that aren't broke to begin with...
Like someone who produces a "fake" CHL will somehow not get caught doing so, since the only one's who will be seeing it are Law Enforcement...In an official capacity...
Life goes on I suppose...
