I was referred here by "The Annoyed Man" during a Men's Retreat for our church. Guns were the topic of conversation around the bed of a pickup near a smoker cooking bacon-wrapped cheese-stuffed jalepenos. I fully believe that CHLers have a secret glance that helps us to identify each other. . . I think I outed myself first, but I was pretty close to 100% sure I was among CHL company. I was right.
I complained about AR15.net (cluttered, unnavigable, overly fragmented, laced with profanity, filled with sarcasm and an abundance of aggressive jerks). He told me about TexasCHLForum.com and it's proved to be the exact opposite.
I've spread the word to a few people that I think are occasional lurkers but haven't actually registered an ID yet.

I've been on here for a couple of years, and I always recommend it to my students. I wonder if any of them actually post!

I know there are quite a few CHL instructors who are mentioning our forum in their classes. Dave at the Bullet Trap is one, as well as our various members/instructors like Crossfire, El Gato, and of course Charles, just to mention a few who are hawking our wares.
We have almost 4700 registered members now. That means a lot of folks are lurking, so they may be here and not actively posting, but reading a lot.

I ran accross this site while researching CHL application. Your right - lots of great info from very smart people. All of the experience from posters on this site definately make it worth while.
