I'd buy a semi-decent gaming rig.

Glock 21 SF
Glock 30 (for beefy CCW)
Ammo - as much 45 as I could get my hands on..

I would buy a good CCW, then a fun plinker to get the wife interested and ensure more gun purchases in the future.

There are some games that are only playable on a computer, plus I have MUCH more control of my FPS's. Plus I do alot of stuff that requires a power computer like video editing, etc so I really need a top of the line computer.

So here's what I ended up getting

Image

Top to Bottom:

Kimber Ultra Crimson Carry II -$995 - Good price from what I've been seeing.
Rock River Arms Complete Lower - GI Trigger - $299 - Meh, okay price. Could be lower.
Ruger 10/22 $235 - About right on for the price :)

So all in all, just a teeny bit over my $1500 mark (before Tax) :coolgleamA:
Btw, whoever suggested the 10/22, thanks, I wouldnt have grabbed it otherwise, and yes, no-one cannot have fun shooting one of those :)

I called my stockbroker yesterday and asked,
"What are you buying"? :headscratch

Her answer: "Canned goods and ammunition." :fire

Hmm, $1500...

Trigger job for the SKS-- $65
more mags for the Kahr plus 1k rounds of 40 S&W-- $450(?)
Polish P64 pistol +upgrades/modifications, holster, etc --$350
Leupold VX3 1.5-5x20 scope --$430

That leaves $200 to spend on whatever. Maybe some Hornady ammo for the hunting rifles?

$1500 can go a loooooong way.

We spent about $1700 last week.

Bought one brother a Colt Government Model Series 70 and the other brother an XDM-9. We will deliver them when we go on vacation in August.

Making up for not getting either of them a decent birthday present for more years than I want to admit.

The world needs more brothers like you, never mind the years of gift neglect...you made up for it now.
