As for PMing those of you that've requested it, regarding what the shirt/wording expressed, I apparently can't or don't know how. I tried and some of the worst of the wording disappeared when I tried to send it and finally the entire message apparently didn't make it. Which, is not any great loss anyway.

Suffice it to say that yes, the f and s bombs (if you will) were used and ended with "and then bring me my beer - female dog"... This in large print.

His mother must be proud of her (35ish - no dimwit teenager) son.

That is funny, but you still could have yelled fire and not been wrong. I would yell something if a lit smoke ended up in my lap. I had a snake in my garage once and managed to disturb people two houses down. If they were smart, they would have made a less than fair offer for my home that night. I still look for that guy everytime I walk into the garage.

Don't worry jbirds1210! I'd be right there with you! I'll let my wife be the snake / spider / critter charmer. I, on the other hand, will be inside holding down the fort (or closet...wherever I run to).

Keith's description of my dance and vocals was spot on! My neighbor came over wondering why I was in my shorts dancing around with my Grandfather's Colt .22 in the driveway. He tried to chase it out of the garage, but the little sucker got away.

I wanted to stay in a hotel that night, but Kimberly would not let me. We sat in a gas station parking lot and discussed it before I would agree to go home.

Like I said, that snake is a terrorist. I still look for him several years later. I really am scared of the things.

They say there is a time and place for everything, but if it is the wrong time or place, then it needs to be dealt with. Public displays of obscene or pornographic material cross the line. While it may be their right to wear it in some places, we in turn have the right not be exposed to them in a common area and should call their hand.

Does a devout Muslim have the same right to insist women cover their arms and legs and faces?

I've worn things that would be offensive to people I don't want to associate with but entertaining to people I do want to meet. It's a quick, easy way to identify likeminded people and frankly I find it amusing that some people get their feathers ruffled over a conflicting viewpoint. Nothing vulgar or obscene; it can be as simple as, say, Ted Kennedy's car has killed more people than my gun.

I'd say the idea that kids would be exposed to this type of vulgarity doesn't hold water. They pick up more trash talk and filth at school than they will ever see on a t-shirt in public. If parents do their job it's a non-issue because they already know it is inappropriate and they know why.

I don't think a public venue is an appropriate place for delicate sensibilities or obscenity. Let things roll; words only have the power that we give them - especially "bad" words.

I concur with Nitrogen, Novaman, and Drewthetexan.

The moment that anyone gets power to stop others from wearing/displaying anything they deem offensive, that power will undoubtedly be abused.
End of story.

I personally consider Glock shirts offensive, and declare that they should be banned :P

However, As others have said, it would be a perfect learning opportunity for your children.
