Carlson1 - UPDATE 09/06
We have talked to Carl this morning. He is at Baylor hospital, I think in Dallas, but could be Irving. He is on some powerful drugs - blood thinners and pain meds. He seems to be comfortable, but not easy to understand due to the meds. They will not do any procedures until Tues, due to the holiday.
He asked me to let all of you know that he hears and appreciates the prayers, the text messages, and the emails. He has a hard time responding as he only has his blackberry with the little tiny keyboard, and you know Carl has really BIG fingers. So, if you don't get a response from him, just know, he is appreciative.
Please continue to pray for him and for Mary. He is very, very ill.

I talked to Carl this evening. He is still in Irving. Nothing has happened today. He has a severe blockage, but because of previous procedures, it is not an easy thing to fix. Angiogram, and possible heart catheter tomorrow.
