Just keep in mind there only loans, FROM THE STATE. Mine were all federal so it doesn't matter.
When you receive your DPS packet, it doesn't have the question on the affidavit, it's only online that it ask. It doesn't disqualify you so don' worry about it. sounds like someone just hasn't updated the website yet.

I am a bit confused. Why are y'all concerned with class C when only class A and B misdemeanors and felonies are disqualifying?

The way I understand it is that if you have a payment plan set up as a result of being in default, you are no longer in default. In other words, you were in default before, and you since made arrangements for monthly payments. You are no longer in default until you stop making payments on the newly arranged payment agreement.

Not true. Even if your making payments it has already DEFAULTED, and remains in default status until its paid off. I had about 5k in loans, I'm down to 76.82. Still in default!

Yes, class A and B are disqualifying while Class C's are not. However, if you get arrested for a Class C, you have to disclose that arrest, as that is apart of your arrest record.

Class C of "Disorderly Conduct" is disqualifying for 5 years.
